Dr. Novoa was born in Lima, Peru. He graduated in the top 5% of his medical school class from Meharry Medical School in 1995.
He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology through the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland
in 1999.
Dr. Novoa began his private practice in the
El Paso area in August 1999 where he joined Physicians HealthCare Associates. In less than 8 months, Dr. Novoa was able to build one of the largest single OB/GYN practices in El Paso.
Dr. Novoa left PHA on May 21, 2003 to establish First Choice OB/GYN
